Ed’s House Memorial Stones Tribute

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 17, 2023 – Northumberland County – Community Care Northumberland (CCN) invites you to join us on July 19th, 2023, for the dedication of the Ed’s House Memorial Walkway.

During the initial Ed’s House capital campaign, we invited you to purchase a Tribute Stone as a way to support Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre and permanently honour the memory of loved ones. We want to express our appreciation for your contribution, and we are excited to show you the walkway with the stones in their final placement.

During the event, we will showcase the Memorial Walkway. We have special guests who will be speaking about their experience at Ed’s House, as well as the significance of the Memorial Walkway. Wednesday will mark the announcement of the launch our new campaign for the second phase of Tribute Stones. This is a wonderful opportunity to continue supporting our mission while commemorating the lives of those who have touched our hearts.

The dedication ceremony will take place on July 19th at 12 p.m. at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre 1301 Ontario Street Cobourg.

We will provide a brief overview of the project, share stories of the impact we have made, and dedicate the Memorial Walkway together. Light refreshments will be served, and you will have the chance to connect with families, supporters, staff, and volunteers.

We would be honoured to have you join us.
